One of the worst parts about having to move isn’t the change – it’s the packing and unpacking. Somehow, your belongings seem to double, and you never feel like you got any packing done – but there’s 20 new boxes waiting to be loaded on the truck. Why do it yourself if you don’t have to?
Our moving team will come to your home and help you pack everything in an organized way. They will make sure everything is securely put away and that you know which items are in what boxes. The best part is, these guys can also load up the truck, move your stuff, and unload it all into its designated room. If you so desire it, they will also unpack the boxes for you and clean up their mess!
The best part is – you don’t even need to hunt from store to store, buying up all the boxes (or begging them from stock room employees), our packers come fully equipped with all of the materials they could need to pack your home from top to bottom. Our moving experts will bring:
- Small, medium, and large sized boxes
- Bubble wrap or protective foam wrap
- Tape, tape, and more tape
- Markers to label your boxes
We make sure that we have enough supplies to pack and protect all of your things from books and picture frames to dishes and drawers!
Disassemble/Reassemble Big Furniture
Another part of the packing and unpacking process is our included service of disassembling and reassembling your big furniture. In certain circumstances, some people aren’t able to lift their heavy items, especially not in one piece, and that’s where we come in. We’ll take apart the big items as well as put them back together at your new home. These items would include, but are not limited to:
- Living Room Sets
- Bedroom Sets
- TV Stands
- Children’s Playground
We guarantee all your stuff will be taken down correctly and put back together the same day you move into your new home.
During many moves, certain appliances are disconnected and taken with you, like your washer and dryer, while other appliances, like the fridge, may stay behind. In other cases, all appliances are moved into the new home. Whatever your situation may be, if you are moving and taking a large appliance with you including (but not limited to) your fridge, stove, washer, and/or dryer, we will make sure they are set up correctly in your new home. Our goal is to make sure that when you move into your new home, it’s the easiest and most stress-free experience as possible.
Should I prep my appliances for the move?
Any appliance you plan to take with you should be first emptied of any personal items. For example, make sure all food items are out of your refrigerator or clothing from your dryer. Also, make sure to disconnect your appliances and that your washer has a stabilizer installed. If you do not know how to disconnect these items, let us know when you schedule your move so that we can make sure this important step is taken care of prior to the big day. Refrigerators and freezers will need additional time to thaw and dry out to prevent any spills or hazards while moving.
